Short answerFor a family, the Zojirushi NP-HCC18 is the 10-cup rice cooker to get. Induction heating makes the biggest difference in a large pot, where bottom heating has the most rice to get through.
01How much a 10-cup cooker makes
Ten rice cups is 1.8 liters of raw rice, measured with the 180 mL cup that comes in the box. That is about 7 1/2 US cups of raw rice, enough for a large family meal or a week of frozen portions.
If you mostly cook two or three rice cups at a time, a 5.5-cup cooker is the better choice. See our size guide.
