Who we are

Kitchen from Japan is run by Kitchen from Japan editors, based in Japan. We live in Japan and cover the Japanese kitchen tools that people outside Japan ask about most, starting with rice cookers. We read the makers' own spec pages (including Japanese-language ones) so you can compare models without guessing.

How we research

Specs come from official maker pages, Japanese-language manuals and spec sheets. Each page lists its sources and the date we checked them. Makers change their listings, so please confirm on the official page before you buy.
